Individual facilitators have gone through an extensive training program and have demonstrated their ongoing skill and commitment to assist others in completing their ethical will. Provisionally certified facilitators must complete a number of programs to obtain initial certification. Once certified, facilitators maintain their certification through ongoing programs and review of participant evaluations.

Founder of Life Legacy Coaching and Writing since 2006, she is both a Certified Professional Co-active Coach and Certified EW Facilitator.  Her business received a 2010 Unique Business award from Executive Forum Magazine.  Transitioning from the career consulting field, she found a resonance with legacy work as she reviewed her own family history, realizing the family name would die with her. She is the former Coordinator of the Student Business Incubator at Springfield Technical Community College and former Associate Director for Alumni Career Services at UMass Amherst. She holds a MSW from Boston College, and a BA from Smith College.

Lin has worn many different hats throughout her life.  She is a wife, mother and grandmother of three. Lin has been a Certified Nursing Assistant and cared for new mothers and their babies as well as providing end of life nursing care for hospice patients. She has accompanied her husband on assignments to embassies in the Middle East, Africa, Europe and Southeast Asia. Lin is an active member of the Association of Personal Historians and is a certified facilitator for Dr. Barry Baines’ program on Ethical Wills. She conducts Ethical Will training workshops in senior activity and retirement centers and churches, as well as for a variety of community organizations. 

Lin  provides Ethical Will workshops, which includes a two-hour  ‘Basics of Ethical Will Writing’ session as well as longer sessions for in-depth training and one-to-one Ethical Will coaching.
Lin’s desire is to empower individuals, helping them to write their very own Ethical Will.

Janet is an active member of the Association of Personal Historians. Her business, “That’s Life” was created in 2002 after 25 years in Sales and Marketing. She holds a BA from Kansas University and a Master’s Degree from Wichita State University. Janet is a Certified Facilitator with Dr. Barry Baines’ Ethical Wills nationwide network.  She enjoys guiding her clients through the process of creating legacy letters to document the intangible aspects of their lives:  their values, lessons learned and hopes and dreams for the future. She creates custom biographies for clients who wish to delve deeper and explore a complete life review from their early years to the present. 

Description of services: Workshops are conducted in a relaxed, conversational environment in an office setting one on one or as a workshop.  Clients are guided through the process and encouraged to explore topics such as gratitude, wisdom, and their experiences.
